Applying as a Visiting Student
Visiting students are individuals who are degree-seeking at another institution and wish to complete coursework at UHD for just one semester or during the summer.

Pay non-refundable $50 application fee. Check your email for a link to your myUHD student portal where you can pay the fee. Freshman applicants may qualify for an application fee waiver. |

International Visiting Students
To be considered an International Visiting Student, you must already be in the United States, attend a US school (home institution), and have valid F-1 visas for enrollment at your home institution. Students must submit the following for consideration as a visiting student at UHD:
- Unofficial Transcript from current school
- Concurrent enrollment letter issued by the student's international advisor (DSO) at his/her home school
- Copy of the passport
- Copy of the F-1 visa

Additional Information
- Visiting applicants are eligible to enroll for up to 24 total credit hours only.
- Visiting students are not eligible for financial aid.
- A visiting student who wishes to remain at UHD or plans to attend in a future semester must reapply and be accepted as a transfer student.
Application processing time can vary depending on the time of year. Normal processing time is 4-5 business days once all required application materials are received. During peak periods (one month prior to the start of a semester), processing times can increase to 8-10 business days.
