The University of Houston-Downtown's student awards, One Main Event, was truly a night to remember for UHD Gators. The annual celebration recognizes students, staff, faculty, and student organizations that positively impact student life at UHD, in addition to celebrating those who have shown exceptional committment, hardwork, and character throughout the academic school year. "The Annual One Main Event is designed to be a unifying experience, showcasing the vibrant life of our campus and strengthening the bonds within the UHD family, " said Tremaine Kwasikpui, Director of UHD Student Leadership and Involvement. "Our Student Leaders are simply amazing and this night allows us to celebrate them."

This year, One Main Building was transformed into a casino-themed event space, complete with games, music, and a hint of glitz. Scroll on for images of the big event, and the list of award-winners.
